Its simple… Hardest thing about it is to remain persistent. Again, we tend to start things and not finish them due to things going on in our lives, being unsatisfied with the results, or just plain ole tired of trying. We all get discouraged from time to time, but Listen... If we want results, we simply cannot just give up! Hopefully this blog will build a team of individuals who will work together and encourage each other to keep going.
So... Here is what I did and continue to do.
– detox for the first week. You can use your own choice of detox methods… just detox
– start your intermittent fasting. Be sure to pick an 8 hour window that works well with your schedule. WHAT IS INTERMITTENT FASTING? CLICK HERE
– reduce your sugar intake to as little as possible
– after your 16hr fast, be sure to put good healthy foods back in your body. This is an important factor as to how you will feel and what your energy level will be throughout your day. Trust me, your diet affects your mobility, strength level, how you feel, as well as your attitude.
– you can have your goodies, and cravings but do it in moderation… JUST NOT EVERY DAY!!! Be sure to count that as a part of your calorie intake. Instead of eating 6 cookies, eat 1.
– drink lots of water
- It's ok to work out a little, whether its walking, light zumba, or just exercising daily. I found that light zumba helped me to gain strength while at the same time burned calories.
– remain persistent… don’t give up!!!
